Job Description:
The Financial Analyst will assist in providing senior management with creative, timely and meaningful analysis of business unit operational and financial performance. This position is responsible for supporting/driving company initiatives and performing analysis of key business issues that identify improvement opportunities at the branch, district, and region levels. In addition, this role develops short and long term plans and monitors and reports on progress for company districts and regions to aide in their annual operating plan. Acquisition responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, conducting due diligence, and creating financial models (EVA, cash flow, ROA, etc.). SCOPE OF WORKCorporate level analysis Trend analysis:financial and operational KPI AnalysisModeling financial impacts of company initiativesMonthly financial presentationsMonthly executive committee reports 2. Acquisitions Review financials and model acquisitions for submissionComplete financial due diligence as requested 3. Manage Yearly BudgetIncome Statement and Balance Sheet budget for corporation 4. Assists Regional Analysts in Partnership analysis and preparationFinancial resource analysisQuarterly Business ReviewMonthly analysis and reporting 5. Special projects as assigned REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 2. Prior Controller experience 3. Minimum, 2 : 4 years successfully demonstrated Accounting/Finance related experience. 4. Plus an additional 1 : 2 years of successful analysis experience. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: 1. MBA from an accredited university. 2. 3 years + analyst experience. 3. 2 years + project management experience. 4. Experience in a Distribution organization
