Job Rank: PA3AD Department: Indiana Campus Contact xxxx2-Director of Grants and Operations This position is with the Lilly School of Philanthropy partner agency, Indiana Campus Compact. The Director of Grants and Operations manages all aspects of the staff, faculty, and student grants, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, human resources, budgets, event management, and vendor contracts, and supervises student and/or receptionist staff for Indiana Campus Compact (ICC). DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position manages the recruitment, awarding, review, and compliance for grant programs; all fiscal accounts which includes budget projections, analysis, and budget control; all vendor contract compliance; accounts payable and purchasing in accordance to the budget limits; manages all accounts receivables; provides event management; works in conjunction with the RC unit on all human resources needs; maintains payroll for department staff; supervises student and/or receptionist staff; and serves as the primary first point of contact for staff, faculty, and students for Indiana Campus Compacts 35 members. The Director for Grants and Operations reports to the Executive Director of Indiana Campus Compact. The successful candidate should possess the ability to review grant applications and determine if an award should be made base on guidelines; Recognize and extract successful grant stories; Effectively communicate with members; Provide technical assistance when needed; Knowledge and understanding of budgets and accounting procedures; Event management knowledge; Ability to supervise staff.
