Handmade William Haynes Thinwall Flute - $1500 in Indianapolis, Indiana For Sale

This is a great, I repeat, great handmade flute from the William Haynes workshop, serial number 179**, made in xxxx. This is a thinwall flutes that is light and easy to play but provides the flutist with lots of tonal colors and a sweet, liquid sound. Great, easy sounding upper octave, smooth middle, and a nice, full lower octave. It is an open hole instrument with a C foot and is in fantastic, near mint condition. It was overhauled a short time ago but has been played little since, so the pads are just perfect, and the mechanism is fast and smooth. When I played the flute this evening, I had first been playing my wood Rudall Carte for a while. When I switched to this Haynes, I was amazed at how the sound just poured out with almost no effort.
I recently purchased a Louis Lot that I had been looking at for months, so now I am forced to sell this and the Rudall Carte to hopefully pay for the Lot! This flute is a great one, though, and you will not find many as nice on the market anywhere these days! Comes with the original case that is also in very nice condition.
